We're seeking a forward thinking Senior Financial Analytst to drive the financial strategy for the high growth Advertising business directly supporting the GenAI Creative Experience product org. Key job responsibilities
* Manage financial and operational performance metrics for the business e.g. weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
* Partner with Creative formats and creative optimization product team to anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans; measure and analyze initiatives and results; identify and drive growth and improvement opportunities
* Support growth of the advertising business by evaluating and understanding shopper and advertiser needs and value drivers, supporting strategic initiatives, and forecasting high impact growth strategies
* Uphold and enforce an environment of strong financial controllership

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to assist in simplifying and scaling our business through thoughtful analyses and partnerships with different stakeholders.- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
