Ruggable is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to enhance manufacturing operations in Charlotte, NC. You'll be involved in designing, building, and troubleshooting equipment and processes, requiring hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
You have a strong background in continuous improvement and manufacturing engineering, with hands-on experience in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues. You are comfortable designing and modifying equipment, and you have a proven track record of implementing physical fixes that drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, throughput, and uptime. You thrive in a production environment and are eager to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency. Your ability to communicate effectively with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams is essential for success in this role. You are detail-oriented and possess a problem-solving mindset, always looking for ways to optimize processes and equipment reliability.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies is a plus. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques to measure and report on performance improvements will set you apart. A background in consumer products or e-commerce can also be beneficial as you work to support Ruggable's mission of delivering high-quality products to customers.
In this role, you will be deeply embedded on the production floor, working closely with various teams to identify areas for improvement. You will design and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance manufacturing operations and equipment reliability. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting root cause analysis, and developing solutions that lead to sustainable improvements. You will also be responsible for documenting processes and improvements, ensuring that best practices are shared across the organization. As Ruggable continues to scale, your contributions will be critical in strengthening the technical depth within the plant and supporting the overall growth of the company.
