Job Description

Amazon's Stores Security (StoresSec) Team seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead and transform our workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives, up-skilling initiatives, and manager development. This role serves as the primary steward of our in-office engagement, ensuring a cohesive welcoming, and engaging environment across all locations. This person will oversee and standardize workplace amenities programs, including site-specific initiatives; establish consistent policies and procedures across all locations to optimize employee experience; and develop and implement feedback mechanisms to measure employee satisfaction and engagement. They will coordinate up-skilling programs for our employees across the organizations, and establish a program focused on developing our manager workforce. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent interpersonal skills to successfully drive cultural initiatives while maintaining operational excellence across our global locations.

Key job responsibilities
Manager Training and Up-skilling Initiatives: In this capacity, the Program Manager will lead manager training and employee up-skilling initiatives across StoresSec. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining a calendar and cadence of manager trainings to be delivered across StoresSec. They will be responsible for training development and delivery, collaborating with HR, Recruiting, Finance, other business partners, and leadership on content. The Program Manager will also be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and communicating the various up-skilling initiatives available to StoresSec employees including conference attendance and speaking opportunities, external trainings, and internal programs. They will be responsible for determining return on investment (ROI) metrics, tracking, and reporting.

This person will be expected to own:

- Planning, communicating, and reporting of up-skilling initiatives including trainings, conferences, and other extracurricular opportunities
- Collect existing up-skilling initiatives including training contracts, conference attendance, and speaking opportunities
- Create an interactive mechanism for teams to learn about opportunities and how to take advantage of them
- Collaborate with PR and other Amazon Security (AmSec) partners on required approval processes
- Launch a communications mechanism to refresh teams on these opportunities and processes
- Develop a tracking and reporting mechanism to identify use and ROI metrics
- Planning, communicating, development, and execution of manager learning and development opportunities
- Establish regular communication channels with Recruiting, HR, Finance, and StoresSec leadership on manager learning topics
- Create and maintain a calendared cadence of manager learning opportunities
- Own content development for training and learning initiatives in collaboration with organizational partners
- Create a repository of delivered trainings

Engagement Strategy Management: The Program Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive framework for planning, executing, and evaluating engagement programs across all StoresSec locations to drive culture development with our office populations. This includes establishing standardized processes for event planning, budgeting, and execution to ensure consistency and efficiency. The role requires partnering with local site leaders and EAs to ensure consistent event delivery while maintaining cultural sensitivity across different locations. Additionally, the Program Manager will work closely with HR partners to create and maintain metrics-driven reporting systems that effectively measure event success, attendance, and ROI.

This person will be expected to own:
- Budgeting - projections, managing, and reporting: Develop comprehensive event budgets; Track and report on event spending; Create ROI analyses for social engagement programs; Manage budget allocations across different locations
- Centralizing and standardizing events, experiences, and expectations: Create standardized event planning processes; Develop consistent execution frameworks; Ensure cultural sensitivity across different locations; Establish uniform quality standards for all events
- Building partnership with EAs and site leaders at all Hub locations: Coordinate with local site leaders; Develop communication protocols for event planning; Create feedback loops for continuous improvement; Establish metrics-driven reporting systems for event success

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 5+ years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
