What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager at Everlaw, you will lead the product engineering team in building features and functionality for the Everlaw core product. You will be responsible for roadmapping, resourcing, and executing critical features and capabilities that delight customers. Your role will involve synthesizing requirements from various stakeholders and prioritizing engineering efforts to align with company goals. You will work closely with the Engineering Operations team to improve processes that support goal setting and execution across the engineering organization.

You will coach and mentor engineers, helping them to grow in their careers and develop their skills. This includes conducting regular check-ins to discuss career goals and providing constructive feedback to foster professional development. You will also play a key role in nurturing a collaborative and vibrant company culture, where team members feel empowered to take ownership of their work and contribute to the success of the organization.

In addition to leading your team, you will engage in technical discussions and contribute to the overall engineering strategy. You will tackle challenging engineering problems throughout the tech stack, ensuring that the product remains reliable and secure while applying the latest technical innovations. Your leadership will be crucial in creating an environment where engineers can do their best work and feel supported in their endeavors.
