***This is a B2B Contract Role - Candidate Must Be Based in Poland***

The Business Analyst, GDSN plays a critical role at Syndigo. 

This role carries responsibility for ensuring the best data model design to fit the customer requirements while ensuring full alignment with GDSN standards. The Analyst reviews initial customer requirements, then provides feedback to ensure the highest quality model with full alignment.

With a special focus on GDSN Recipients, responsibilities flow from technical onboarding with account feature configurations, establishing trading partner connections, ensuring data is flowing properly end to end, and ensuring data quality. Using special admin tools, data analysis and investigations are performed, with action plans and implementations of solutions carried out as implementation projects progress and business changes occur.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze initial customer requirements to provide feedback and recommendations to perfect the data model in full alignment with GDSN standards of the countries they will operate in
  • Identify and document new trends and business rules to enhance product data scope and quality
  • Play a key role in select customer facing design workshops/sessions to help customers develop best practice-based solutions
  • Act as a key consult for internal teams and key customers on GDSN subject matter
  • Triage and provide impact assessment and business justification for priority configurations and enhancements
  • Create tickets for data model creation and maintenance, and for data quality rule creation
  • Coordinate activities / projects within SDLC to drive project implementations
  • Report, track, and communicate status of assigned items to a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Act a quality assurance lead for addressed development needs to ensure it solves the customer business needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong data analysis competencies, with focus on quality, data integrity, and pattern recognition
  • Quickly learn and master workflow choreography – keen desire to know how things work
  • Ability to effectively manage time and adjust to changing priorities
  • Effective communication skills to distill key message and impacts
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders, including customers during onboarding
  • Detail oriented, but able to handle ambiguity
  • Experience with SQL, Excel, Visio or other data analysis and visualization tools
  • Always hungry to find great data insights, trends, and identify anomalies!

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5 years of proven data analysis, data transformation, requirements definition
  • GDSN attribute and choreography knowledge
  • Technical background in ETL, Data Engineering a plus, but not required
  • English, German mandatory, French a plus
