Google is seeking a Senior Leadership Program Manager for Cloud Strategic Sourcing to lead multi-disciplinary projects and manage OEM partnerships. You'll leverage your expertise in sourcing and program management within the technology sector. This role requires 10+ years of experience in sourcing and project management.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in sourcing or category management within the technology or hyperscale industry. Your background includes 10 years of experience in program or project management, and you have a proven track record of managing OEM partnerships in compute, networking, and storage. With at least 7 years in a leadership role, you have experience managing direct reports and driving programs in cloud infrastructure. You are skilled in leading contract negotiations, TCO modeling, and developing formal supply chain risk mitigation frameworks. Your experience supporting distributed or hybrid cloud hardware deployment models is a significant asset, as is your knowledge of managing the complete hardware product life-cycle, including NPI strategy and technology transition planning.
As a Senior Leadership Program Manager at Google, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, coordinating with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring you to foster executive relationships and mitigate supply chain risks effectively. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and NPI teams to translate technical needs into sourcing strategies and scale global integration capacity. Monitoring supplier performance using Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements will be part of your responsibilities, as will leading Quarterly Business Reviews to ensure contractual adherence. You will play a crucial role in driving the success of cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring that all aspects of the sourcing process align with Google's strategic goals.
