Overview

Xometry is seeking an Account Executive II to manage and convert inbound leads into loyal customers. You'll build relationships and guide clients through the sales process. This role requires strong sales skills and a desire to grow within the company.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in managing inbound leads and converting them into loyal customers. Your ability to build relationships is key, as you will be projecting company values of trust, service, and honesty while identifying strategic long-term clients. You are driven and eager to grow within a dynamic organization, ready to take on the challenges of managing an existing book of business.

You understand the importance of customer experience and are committed to ensuring a seamless journey from initial contact to deal closure. Your skills in developing business with existing and new inbound customers will be crucial in achieving specific sales objectives and profitable growth. You are proactive in assisting customers in selecting the best rapid manufacturing technology for their development projects, showcasing your knowledge and expertise in the field.

Desirable

Experience in the manufacturing industry or a related field would be beneficial, as it will enhance your ability to provide guidance to our sales engineering team in developing quotes based on specific customer needs. Familiarity with project management and sales strategies will also be advantageous as you navigate the complexities of customer requirements.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and converting inbound leads into loyal customers. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, guiding them through the sales process and ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to deal closure. Building relationships with clients will be a significant part of your day-to-day responsibilities, as you project the company's values and identify strategic long-term clients.

You will develop business with existing and new inbound customers, creating and actively managing plans to reach specific sales objectives, profitable growth, and market share/image improvement. Assisting customers in selecting the best rapid manufacturing technology for their development projects will be a critical aspect of your role, as you ensure they receive the best solutions tailored to their needs.

As the contact person for all new projects related to prototyping and low volume production, you will provide guidance to our sales engineering team to develop quotes based on specific customer needs. Your ability to collect and communicate new customer requirements will be essential for internal departments to ensure alignment and success in project execution.
