You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in building scalable systems that handle real-time communication and collaboration. You understand the importance of low-latency performance and have experience optimizing media streaming components for high reliability and quality.

You are familiar with cloud services, particularly Azure, and have a strong grasp of REST API design principles. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that media capabilities are integrated smoothly across various Microsoft platforms. You are committed to innovation and continuously seek ways to improve user experiences through technology.

Desirable

Experience with media streaming technologies or real-time communication frameworks is a plus. What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Media Streaming team, you will design and develop scalable, low-latency media streaming components that enhance Microsoft’s real-time communication and collaboration experiences.
