Rubrik is seeking a SLED Account Executive to drive sales growth in State and Local Government and Higher Education accounts across Louisiana and Mississippi. This role requires strong sales skills and a focus on acquiring new clients.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the public sector, with experience in managing and growing accounts. You are a relentless self-starter who thrives on acquiring new logos and developing strategic relationships. Your ability to define and execute sales plans is complemented by your strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively present solutions to diverse stakeholders. You understand the importance of collaboration and work well with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals. You are results-driven and have a keen focus on pipeline generation, ensuring that you consistently meet and exceed quotas. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of selling to government entities and educational institutions.
Experience in cybersecurity or data protection solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with the sales processes in the public sector. A background in technology sales will help you understand the solutions you are selling and how they can benefit your clients. You are comfortable using CRM tools to manage your pipeline and track your progress.
As a SLED Account Executive at Rubrik, you will take ownership of bookings growth in new and existing accounts within the State and Local Government and Higher Education sectors. You will define and execute sales strategies tailored to your territory, focusing on prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities. Your role will involve developing and managing a robust sales pipeline, moving strategic transactions through the sales process efficiently. You will work closely with Sales Engineers, Sales Development, and Channel Development teams to ensure that you have the resources needed to succeed. You will also encourage existing customer expansion, identifying opportunities for growth within your accounts. Your daily activities will include driving pipeline generation and collaborating with Rubrik Channel Partners to exceed sales quotas.
