Neuralink is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to design and produce hardware solutions for brain-machine interface devices. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and apply your mechanical engineering skills in a cutting-edge field. You are a Mechanical Engineering Intern with at least 6 months of experience applying your technical skills in real-world settings, whether through laboratory work, research, or prior internships. You possess a strong understanding of engineering first principles, which allows you to tackle complex design challenges effectively. You are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with neuroscientists, biologists, and engineers to create innovative solutions.
Ideally, you have 1+ years of mechanical engineering industry experience, where you have owned projects from concept to production. Your background includes experience with surgical robotics, automation, or microfabrication, which will be beneficial in this role. You are a team player who thrives in collaborative settings and is excited about the potential impact of your work on human health.
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Neuralink, you will be responsible for designing and producing hardware solutions for our brain-machine interface devices.
