Overview

Samsara is hiring an Account Executive for their Mid Market team to drive sales of IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This position requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of customer needs.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and understanding their unique needs. Your experience includes managing complex sales processes, negotiating pricing, and working with multiple stakeholders to close deals. You thrive in a role that requires you to bring innovative solutions to customers, particularly in the realm of Internet of Things (IoT) technology. You are comfortable working remotely and can adapt your schedule to align with EST/CST time zones. You are willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and support sales initiatives.

Desirable

Experience in the technology sector, particularly with IoT or related fields, is a plus. Familiarity with sales strategies that involve proof of concepts (POCs) and trials will help you excel in this role. You are a self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You will engage with executives and CXOs, presenting the value of our products and how they can transform their operations. You will manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales targets. You will conduct product demonstrations and trials, helping potential customers understand the benefits of our technology. Your role will involve negotiating pricing and terms, ensuring that both the customer and Samsara achieve a win-win outcome. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers, setting them up for success with our solutions.
