Who you are

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field, and you have a strong foundation in programming languages such as C, Objective-C, C++, and Swift. Your familiarity with these languages will enable you to contribute effectively to the UI Frameworks team at Apple. You possess English language fluency, both written and verbal, which is essential for collaborating with diverse teams and communicating your ideas clearly.

You are eager to explore the intersection of technology and design, particularly in the realm of spatial computing and augmented reality. Your passion for crafting engaging user experiences drives you to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in UI/UX design. You are comfortable working across the full spectrum of development, from the UI down to the protocols and system integration layers, demonstrating a holistic understanding of software development.

Desirable

Experience in building interactive applications or projects that showcase your skills in UI design and development would be a plus. What you'll do

As an intern in the UI Frameworks team, you will have the opportunity to explore interactive experiences for the Apple Vision Pro platform. Your work will directly impact how developers and customers engage with Apple products, allowing you to contribute to the future of interaction between the real and virtual worlds. You will collaborate closely with human interface designers to envision completely new spatial interactions, combining various input methods such as eyes, hands, and accessories.

You will work with advanced technologies, including Spatial Computing, Augmented Reality, RealityKit, UIKit, and SwiftUI, to help craft engaging user experiences. Your role will involve developing and refining UI components, ensuring they are intuitive and user-friendly. You will also participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews, providing your insights and feedback to enhance the overall quality of the user interface.
