As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of the AWS cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure optimal performance of data center operations. You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers, to deliver the highest standards of service.
You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that are essential for providing continual access to our customers. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly. You will also participate in an on-call rotation, responding to incidents and ensuring that any disruptions are resolved quickly and efficiently.
