Gympass is seeking a Labor & Employment Counsel Manager to lead employment law matters across Europe. You'll provide strategic legal advice and collaborate with HR and business leaders. This role requires extensive experience in labor and employment law.

Who you are

You are an experienced Labor & Employment Counsel Manager with a strong background in employment law across Europe. With over 5 years of experience, you have a proven track record in complex advisory work and strategic litigation management. You excel in partnering with senior Human Resources and business leaders to navigate employment and labor matters effectively. Your expertise includes understanding applicable EU local laws, including contracts, terminations, working time, compensation, and benefits. You are adept at providing practical legal solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring compliance while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Desirable

You have experience working in a multinational environment and are familiar with the nuances of employment law in various European jurisdictions. Your ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner is a key strength. You are proactive in identifying potential legal issues and developing strategies to mitigate risks. Your collaborative approach allows you to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, enhancing the effectiveness of the legal function.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as the primary in-house employment law expert for Gympass's operations in Europe. You will provide legal advice on a wide range of employment issues, including employee contracts, terminations, and compliance with local labor laws. You will lead strategic litigation efforts, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
