Overview

N26 is hiring a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to enable data-driven decisions within the Marketing team. You'll work closely with various stakeholders to analyze marketing effectiveness and drive strategic initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, particularly in marketing analytics, where you've developed a strong understanding of how to measure and analyze marketing effectiveness. Your expertise in SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI allows you to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing managers and data scientists, to drive data-driven decision-making. You have a proven track record of establishing a data-driven culture within organizations, fostering continuous learning and improvement among your peers.

You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to act as a partner to marketing stakeholders and advise senior leadership on measurement techniques. Your ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations is a key strength, and you thrive in environments where you can influence business decisions through data. You are also familiar with tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which you use to monitor and measure marketing initiatives effectively.

Desirable

Experience with Marketing Mix Models and Customer Lifetime Value analysis is a plus, as is familiarity with various marketing channels such as Paid Media and Product Marketing. You are open to learning new tools and methodologies that can enhance your analytical capabilities and contribute to the overall success of the marketing team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Acquisition Measurement team, owning the roadmap for Acquisition Marketing Measurement and prioritizing initiatives based on stakeholder input. You will contribute to defining clear and measurable OKRs and goals for marketing initiatives, ensuring that all marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives. Your role will involve acting as the go-to person for data-related questions from various marketing teams, providing insights that help shape their strategies and campaigns.

You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to evaluate and present results from marketing initiatives, helping to steer business decisions that drive overall company success. Your analytical skills will be crucial in driving Marketing Science initiatives, where you will work with data scientists and analytics engineers to increase the adoption of Customer Lifetime Value metrics across marketing acquisition channels.

You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the marketing team, encouraging continuous learning and improvement. This includes mentoring junior analysts and sharing best practices for data analysis and measurement techniques. Your insights will play a vital role in shaping the marketing strategy and ensuring that all initiatives are backed by solid data.
