You have a BS in Computer Science, Robotics, or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience. You possess experience designing and implementing machine learning tools and frameworks, demonstrating a solid understanding of the model development lifecycle. Your background includes proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment, engaging with cross-functional teams to enhance developer productivity and efficiency. You have experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, which are essential for deploying machine learning models at scale. You are passionate about building sustainable solutions that contribute to the advancement of autonomous driving technology.
Experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS is a plus, as is familiarity with data processing frameworks. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where innovation is key.
In this role, you will be part of the Waymo ML Infrastructure team, focusing on building the best ecosystem for developing and shipping ML-powered intelligence. You will collaborate closely with Google to provide solutions that enhance the entire model development lifecycle. Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $170,000 to $216,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
