What you'll do

As a Staff Mobile Engineer at Samsara, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the mobile platform that supports our Driver and Fleet applications. You will design and implement foundational frameworks that enable over 20 engineering teams to efficiently develop their applications. Your work will directly influence the development velocity and technical capabilities of our entire mobile engineering organization.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define the technical roadmap for mobile development. Your responsibilities will include conducting code reviews, ensuring best practices in mobile development, and optimizing the performance of our applications. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues that arise during the development process.

In addition to your technical contributions, you will mentor and guide junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers. You will foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of new technologies.
