SingleStore is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design and optimize cloud environments and internal developer platforms. You'll work with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform to enhance operational efficiency. This role requires a strong DevOps mindset and hands-on development skills.
You are a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with a strong background in DevOps and cloud infrastructure. You have experience designing, operating, and optimizing cloud environments, and you thrive in solving complex technical problems. Your hands-on development skills allow you to automate processes effectively, ensuring fast and reliable software delivery. You are familiar with Infrastructure as Code practices and modern DevOps tooling, which you leverage to enhance operational efficiency and developer productivity.
You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working closely with engineering, QA, data, and product teams. Your ability to maintain cloud infrastructure and create internal developer platforms makes you a valuable asset to any engineering organization. You are passionate about building scalable and resilient systems that are easy to use, and you are committed to continuous improvement in your work processes.
Experience with AI-assisted automation tools is a plus, as is familiarity with the broader cloud-native ecosystem. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can improve your work and the team's overall performance.
In this role, you will be responsible for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and operational workflows. You will own the deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems that support engineering, including Kubernetes clusters and container registries. Your expertise in Kubernetes and container runtimes will be crucial as you work to optimize these environments for performance and reliability.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems are scalable and resilient. Your role will involve using scripting languages and IaC to maintain consistency across our cloud environments. You will also be tasked with improving processes and building platforms that accelerate engineering velocity, making your contributions essential to the success of the organization.
