Overview

Guidepoint is seeking an AVP, Client Growth to enhance client relationships and promote subscription-based research services. This role involves strategic outreach and client onboarding, requiring 2-4 years of sales experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 2-4 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within a consulting or institutional market. You possess strong communication skills that allow you to effectively engage with clients and understand their needs. Your ability to analyze client usage trends and identify pain points is crucial for success in this role. You are comfortable conducting outreach through calls and emails, demonstrating a proactive approach to client engagement. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with senior team members and the Client Service team to enhance client satisfaction and service usage.

Desirable

Experience in a subscription-based service environment is a plus, as is familiarity with data analysis tools that can help you monitor client engagement. A background in consulting or market research will enable you to better articulate the value of Guidepoint's offerings to clients. You are adaptable and open to learning about the consulting market, which will enhance your ability to communicate effectively with clients.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with senior team members to develop strategies for increasing the user base at client firms. You will conduct warm and cold outreach efforts, including calls and emails, to activate new clients and meet project targets. Monitoring client usage trends will be a key responsibility, allowing you to identify inflection points and proactively address any potential issues. You will onboard new users, educating them on the various services available under their subscription. Collaborating with the Client Service team, you will gather feedback on ongoing projects and ensure that client needs are met effectively.
