Handshake is seeking Transportation, Storage, and Distribution Managers to contribute to an AI research project. You'll leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models and provide feedback. No AI experience is required for this contract role.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in transportation, storage, or distribution management. Your background includes supervising workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials. You are familiar with planning, developing, and implementing warehouse safety and security programs. Your experience also includes inspecting warehouses and vehicle fleets to ensure compliance with safety regulations. You are comfortable working independently and can adapt to flexible hours, averaging 5-20 hours per week. You are eager to learn new skills and contribute to the advancement of AI in your field.
In this role, you will evaluate AI models based on your professional experience in transportation, storage, and distribution. You will assess content related to your field of work and deliver structured feedback to enhance the model's understanding of workplace tasks and language. Your responsibilities will include developing prompts for AI models that accurately reflect your field and evaluating the responses generated by these models. You will work asynchronously and independently, allowing you to manage your time effectively while contributing to the project. Your placement in specific projects will depend on availability, and you will have the opportunity to participate in various projects throughout the year.
