Job Description

Ring Blink, Key, and Sidewalk are actively seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to provide financial support the company’s operations and cost efficiency efforts. You will be responsible for working with a team that will partner with business to help them understand and manage their budgets and forecasts, quantify cost reduction efforts and proactively deliver cost related insights to relevant constituents. You will also facilitate communications across the organization, deliver insightful financial analyses and reports to internal and external Business Partners and work closely with the accounting function to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Locations for this role include: Sunnyvale, CA area.


Key job responsibilities
- Develop headcount and employee expenses forecasts and analyze trends against approved plans
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly guidance and month-end close for headcount and employee costs with variance analysis
- Build scenario models for headcount strategies and organizational changes
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on headcount metrics, cost per head, and expense trends
- Conduct analyses identifying cost optimization opportunities
- Create dashboards visualizing headcount costs and key metrics
- Partner with business leaders on headcount decisions and resource allocation
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams on requisition alignment with approved plans, HR and other finance teams
- Automate routine reporting and data reconciliation using AI tools
- Apply predictive analytics improving forecast accuracy
- Streamline workflows through AI-powered solutions for data extraction and anomaly detection
- Enhance data quality using AI to identify inconsistencies management- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
