You have 5+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a similar data-focused role, where you've honed your skills in data modeling and data warehousing. Your expertise in SQL and Python allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, ensuring data integrity and accessibility across the organization. You are proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker, enabling you to present complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner. You understand the importance of ETL processes and have experience building and maintaining data pipelines that support business intelligence initiatives. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that empower decision-making. You are detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, allowing you to tackle data challenges with confidence. Desirable

What you'll do

As the first dedicated Analytics Engineer at Rain, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how the company utilizes data. You will consolidate fragmented data sources into a cohesive data infrastructure that supports various teams, including Product, Business Development, Customer Success, and Compliance. Your primary responsibility will be to create trusted, reusable datasets that enable these teams to make informed decisions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and develop metrics that align with business objectives. You will also be responsible for ensuring data quality and reliability, implementing best practices for data management, and continuously optimizing data processes.
