Overview

Jamf is hiring a DevOps Engineer II to automate and develop backend infrastructure for the Jamf Cloud. You'll work with AWS and various automation tools to ensure secure and efficient production environments. This role requires experience in DevOps practices and cloud technologies.

Who you are

You have a solid background in DevOps practices, with experience in automating and developing backend infrastructure. You understand the importance of security best practices and have a keen eye for identifying areas for improvement in production environments. Your familiarity with AWS and cloud technologies allows you to effectively manage and deploy applications in the cloud. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working with software development teams to enhance their workflows. You are adaptable and open to learning new tools and techniques that can improve operational efficiency.

Desirable

Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code is a plus, as it aligns with your approach to automating processes. Familiarity with serverless architectures and containerization technologies will help you excel in this role. You appreciate a flexible work culture and value work-life balance, which aligns with Jamf's commitment to a supportive work environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the automation and development of backend infrastructure that powers the Jamf Cloud. You will develop, deploy, and maintain production environments, ensuring they are secure and efficient. Your work will involve identifying and applying automation tools and techniques, such as Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code, to streamline processes. You will collaborate closely with Software Development Engineers to provide the internal infrastructure they need to build and deploy Jamf products effectively. You will also be involved in implementing security best practices to protect the systems and data.
