Software Engineer (Database), Supply Chain Integration

Who you are

You have 3+ years of proven experience in enterprise-level application development using advanced Oracle database technologies — your expertise includes hands-on experience with large-volume databases for both OLTP and OLAP environments. You are familiar with various databases such as SingleStore, Oracle, Snowflake, NoSQL, and Graph, and you possess proven expertise in ETL, performance optimization, and maintenance of various solutions based on Oracle databases. Your strong ability to research, design, and develop complex technical solutions makes you an ideal candidate for this role.

You thrive in collaborative environments and excel at producing high-quality software under tight deadlines — your communication skills allow you to effectively interact with multi-functional teams globally, including stakeholders from the US, Singapore, India, and Europe. You are a self-starter who is highly motivated and enjoys tackling challenges while finding creative solutions to complex problems.

What you'll do

As part of the Supply Chain Innovation team at Apple, you will play a pivotal role in building end-to-end, best-in-class software solutions for Apple’s Supply Chain needs. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various internal stakeholders to define and implement solutions that optimize Apple’s internal business processes. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design through deployment and maintenance, ensuring that the solutions you develop meet the high standards expected at Apple.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications — your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the development process. Additionally, you will be responsible for performance optimization of the databases and ensuring that the solutions you develop are scalable and efficient.
