What you’ll do

• Drive growth. Bring in new business and expand our carrier footprint through smart, strategic appointments and strong producer relationships.

• Own outcomes. Navigate the quote-bind-issue lifecycle from start to finish, ensuring fast, accurate turnaround on every deal.

• Operate like an owner. Build and evolve QuoteWell’s wholesale capabilities, especially within binding authority lines, driving efficiency and scale as we grow.

• Work across teams. Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations to design and implement tools that make underwriting in surplus lines smoother and smarter.

What you’ll need

• Wholesale brokerage experience. You’ve done this before and understand the pace and nuance of surplus lines brokering.

• Proper licensing. You hold the necessary licenses for the lines of business you manage—or are ready to get them fast.

• Strong producer chops. You’re a closer with a consultative, relationship-first approach to sales.

• High-volume hustle. You can manage a heavy pipeline and turn around quotes with speed and quality.

• Excellent communication. You’re persuasive, clear, and professional—on calls, in emails, and in person.

• Detail-oriented mindset. You know the difference between fast and sloppy, and always deliver polished work.

• Scrappiness. You roll with the punches, stay resourceful under pressure, and find creative ways to get deals done.

• Travel-readiness. You’re comfortable hitting the road to visit agents, attend events, or support new business opportunities.
