Your communication skills are exceptional — you can explain complex financial concepts in a way that is easy for clients to understand. You are comfortable conducting meetings via videoconference, phone, and email, ensuring that members feel supported and informed throughout the planning process. You are detail-oriented and can develop specific recommendations based on each member's unique circumstances and goals.

Desirable

Experience with financial planning software and tools is a plus, as is familiarity with investment strategies and debt management. You are proactive in staying updated on financial regulations and trends, ensuring that your advice is both current and compliant. You are also a team player, willing to collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall member experience.

What you'll do

As a Senior Financial Planner at SoFi, you will work directly with members to provide comprehensive financial planning services. You will guide members through SoFi’s unique planning experience, addressing everything from debt repayment strategies to long-term investment planning. Your role is not sales-based; instead, you will focus on understanding each member's financial situation and developing actionable recommendations tailored to their needs.

You will present specific recommendations to members, helping them understand their next best steps in achieving their financial goals. This may involve creating detailed financial plans, conducting regular check-ins, and adjusting strategies as members' circumstances change.
