SpaceX is hiring an NDE Level II Inspector specializing in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing to perform high-quality inspections of flight components. This role requires NDE level II certification and offers the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking aerospace technologies.
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and hold an NDE level II certification in line with ASNT-TC-1A or NAS-410 or DoD guidance in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT). With at least 2 years of experience as a level II NDE/NDT inspector, you are skilled in performing surface and volumetric NDE inspections and interpreting engineering drawings. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a passion for developing inspection techniques for complex geometries.
As an NDE Level II Inspector at SpaceX, you will perform surface and volumetric NDE inspections, interpreting and evaluating findings to communicate effectively with production and engineering teams. You will support the development of NDE inspection techniques and assist in the research and development of future ultrasonic technology for operational improvements. Additionally, you will play a key role in training and developing others within the team, ensuring high-quality inspections across various programs including Falcon, Dragon, Starship, and Raptor.
