Job Description

The Head of Premium Sponsorships will oversee creative execution for a growing portfolio of custom sponsorship offerings, crafting innovative advertising campaigns that align with our most culturally relevant entertainment properties and retail moments. This senior leader will deliver breakthrough solutions, partnering with internal teams across Prime Video, Wondery, Amazon Retail and beyond. They will provide strategic creative direction across interdisciplinary teams while building scalable, long-term mechanisms to ensure consistent creative excellence and business impact, helping brands maximize their presence across the Amazon Ads canvas.

Success in this role requires exceptional strategic thinking, proven creative leadership, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence and drive decisions across multiple organizations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a track record of building and scaling creative teams while maintaining excellence in execution.

Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision

- Design and implement comprehensive creative strategy for premium sponsorship offerings across multiple Amazon organizations
- Develop strategic initiatives that drive innovation in advertising solutions
- Create and optimize mechanisms to evaluate creative quality and business impact
- Drive operational efficiency and process improvements across creative teams
- Build mechanisms to foster inclusive perspectives and drive cross-functional collaboration

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead and develop large interdisciplinary teams including creatives, solutions managers, and business development leads
- Design team structures that enable scale and maintain creative excellence
- Ensure the right talent is in the right roles and create leadership opportunities

Business Impact & Innovation

- Partner with internal teams to identify opportunities for innovative advertising solutions
- Make strategic decisions balancing creative excellence with business outcomes
- Drive continuous evolution of creative processes while maintaining high standards
- Influence cross-organizational priorities and negotiate outcomes
- Manage P&L responsibility and make strategic resource allocation decisions
- Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across Amazon businesses- 15+ years experience in creative leadership roles across advertising, creative agency, or in-house advertising
- Experience leading large interdisciplinary teams through strategy and execution
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic creative leadership and business impact- Experience building creative programs for premium brands and entertainment properties
- Proven track record managing complex creative organizations and P&Ls
- Track record of developing innovative ad products and solutions
- Ability to influence at senior levels and drive decisions across organization
- Global team management experience
- Experience designing and implementing creative excellence mechanisms

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $166,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $274,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
