Job Description

**About the Role** Uber’s Legal Operations team is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our Legal Matter Management (MM) program and platform. This role requires a unique combination of product development expertise and deep legal domain knowledge to serve 600+ active users while delivering elegant, user-centric, AI-powered solutions that enhance strategic decision-making. This role requires a strategic and innovative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, someone who can define product strategy with a broad, long-term vision while also being hands-on and execution-focused to deliver impactful results. A passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement is essential to succeed in this dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will partner closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders across Legal, IT, and other cross-functional teams, to drive a program charter that addresses the complex, multi-regional, and cross-disciplinary needs of the CLO. **Key Responsibilities** - 1\. Define and maintain the product roadmap for the Legal Matter Management Platform in Salesforce, leveraging data-driven product development practices to prioritize features that deliver maximum value to legal teams. - Own the overall execution and delivery of roadmap initiatives, ensuring timely and effective outcomes. - Lead a cross-functional team, including program managers, business analysts, solution architects, Salesforce developers and other engineering resources, through matrixed reporting structures, to achieve program goals. - Transform complex user requirements into elegant, user-friendly, and delightful solutions that accelerate platform adoption and enhance data integrity. - Establish and apply scalable product development frameworks that drive strategic prioritization, operational excellence, and consistent, high-impact feature delivery. - Collaborate with technical teams to develop AI-driven orchestration and predictive analytics capabilities that enable proactive case strategy, leveraging internal precedent and external legal intelligence to generate actionable insights. - Engage regularly with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across the CLO organization to align on strategic priorities and support informed program decisions. - Build consensus among stakeholders with varying levels of legal and technical expertise. - Drive platform adoption and uphold data quality standards across all user segments. - Define and implement KPIs to measure platform performance and business impact. - Oversee governance, security, and compliance to meet program, legal and regulatory standards. - Manage vendor relationships and external technology partnerships to maximize value and ensure delivery of program objectives. **Basic Qualifications** - Bachelors Degree and 7+ years of Product Management experience with 5+ years focus in legal product development. - Demonstrated use of data-driven and user-centric product development practices to scale legal products across a large, global client base. - Demonstrated experience with roadmap planning and MVP strategy, driving execution and change management to drive product adoption and support company priorities. - Experience with deploying AI models, and predictive modeling to inform proactive legal strategies. - Experience managing direct and matrixed teams to achieve program goals. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience with Legal Matter Management platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Onit, Mitratech, TeamConnect, Legal Tracker, or similar) with strong focus on litigation case management and workflows. - Working experience with at least one core platform: Salesforce (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud/Platform, Lightning, Flows) or comparable low-code / SaaS (e.g., Dynamics 365, ServiceNow) with ability to evaluate build vs. buy. - Strong data modeling for legal entities: matters, clients, outside counsel, invoices, time entries, legal holds, documents, retention schedules, privilege tags, and audit trails. - Knowledge of legal analytics, case precedent analysis, and legal intelligence to inform case strategy. - Superior analytical and legal skills, mature judgment, innovative thinking and a desire to take the initiative and think two steps ahead. - Strong, team-oriented collaborator, with confidence and flexibility to perform in nimble, rapidly changing and growing environments, as well as build relationships and gain credibility. - Passionate about your work and a desire to have a big impact. - Embody the highest standards of integrity, ethics and accountability. - Enthusiasm about Uber and our mission! For Austin, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$194,000 per year - USD$216,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$216,000 per year - USD$240,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$216,000 per year - USD$240,000 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$216,000 per year - USD$240,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
