Job Description

Who you are

You have 3-5 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, demonstrating your ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently. Your fluency in English is complemented by knowledge of a Nordic language, which is a bonus for this position. You thrive in a complex selling environment, having successfully navigated sales processes with C-level executives and department leaders. Your experience has equipped you with a strong understanding of digital transformation and change management, allowing you to act as a trusted advisor to your clients.

You are skilled in developing and executing your own annual, quarterly, and monthly territory business plans. Your proactive approach to finding new prospects from both inbound and self-sourced leads sets you apart. You have a collaborative spirit, working closely with marketing and technology departments to evolve sales strategies as new features and products are introduced. You are comfortable running qualification calls and product demonstrations, both online and occasionally in person, to showcase the value of the HubSpot platform.

Desirable

Experience with HubSpot's platform is a significant advantage, as it allows you to leverage existing knowledge to drive customer engagement and satisfaction. You are adept at selling through internal champions to multiple stakeholders, ensuring that you can close both new business and install base at or above quota on a monthly cadence. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with clients is crucial to your success in this role.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Market Account Executive for the Nordics at HubSpot, you will engage directly with small to medium-sized businesses, helping them grow by utilizing proactive and inbound selling strategies. You will be responsible for finding and closing new business opportunities while increasing customer usage of the HubSpot platform over time. Your role will involve running the sales process end to end, acting as a trusted advisor and business consultant to your customers.

You will develop and manage your own territory business plan, setting clear goals for annual, quarterly, and monthly performance. Your responsibilities will include identifying new prospects, conducting qualification calls with C-level executives, and closing deals that meet or exceed your sales targets. You will collaborate with HubSpot's marketing and technology teams to refine sales strategies and adapt to new product offerings.

In addition to closing new business, you will focus on increasing the install base by nurturing existing customer relationships and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. You will conduct online product demonstrations and occasionally meet clients in person to showcase the value of HubSpot's solutions. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet sales quotas and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
