You have a proven track record in business development, particularly in acquiring and managing partnerships with small to medium-sized businesses. Your experience includes leading strategic negotiations and developing proposals that enhance profitability and efficiency for partners. You thrive in collaborative environments, working cross-functionally with various teams to achieve common goals. You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to leverage data insights to inform your strategies and decisions. You are a strategic thinker who can design exclusive partnerships that benefit both the merchants and the company. You understand the importance of building relationships and are adept at communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in the food delivery or restaurant industry is a plus, as is familiarity with marketing and fulfillment solutions. You have a knack for financial modeling and can present complex data in an understandable manner. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on results.
In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring exclusivity with high-value restaurant partners in the SMB segment. You will lead negotiations and develop proposals that drive profitability for our merchants. Your role will involve collaborating with teams such as Account Management, Local Markets, and Strategic Finance to create scalable solutions that enhance our go-to-market strategy. You will analyze market trends and competitor strategies to inform your approach and ensure that DoorDash remains competitive in the marketplace. Your insights will directly influence the evolution of our sales playbook and product development, making your contributions vital to the success of the team.
You will also engage with restaurant operators to understand their needs and challenges, providing them with tailored solutions that leverage DoorDash’s full suite of growth tools. Your ability to build strong relationships will be key in fostering long-term partnerships that benefit both the merchants and DoorDash. You will track and report on the success of your initiatives, using data to refine your strategies and improve outcomes.
