Job Summary: 

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help streamline our software delivery process through automation, monitoring, and best-in-class infrastructure management. You’ll work at the intersection of development and operations, ensuring our systems are scalable, secure, and efficient. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, cloud platforms, containerization, and infrastructure management. 

This role requires someone who is comfortable working in fast-paced environments, can troubleshoot complex system issues, and is passionate about optimizing deployment workflows. If you enjoy building robust infrastructure and automating everything, this is the role for you. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and system configurations using scripting (Python, Ruby, Bash) and tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. 
• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar tools to streamline deployments. 
• Work with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to manage scalable applications. 
• Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability. 
• Set up and maintain local infrastructure, including provisioning, building, and deploying on local machines or servers. 
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Implement security best practices across applications and infrastructure, including vulnerability assessments and access controls. 
• Collaborate closely with developers, system administrators, and product teams to optimize workflows and improve system reliability. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly to minimize downtime. 
• Manage and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) as part of infrastructure support. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar role.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Ruby, Bash). 
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. 
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Cloud infrastructure expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for provisioning and managing cloud resources. 
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of networking, security best practices, and system administration.
• Experience with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). 
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

 Nice to Have 

• DevOps certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate (DCA), or similar. 
• Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to serverless architectures and modern cloud-native technologies.
