We are looking for a dynamic, self-starting BIE to guide Everyday Essential program in Japan with analytics and data-driven insights. You will be working in one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments. The insights you generate will allow us to prioritize our product roadmap, inform business decisions, and improve the customer experience and bottom line performance. You will develop statistical models that help understand underlining drivers of the business and optimize our value proposition and expansion. You will collaborate with leaders from product, science, engineering, category, finance, and more. The position requires a candidate who can work cross functionally to develop and define key business questions, build datasets and analytical frameworks which answer those questions, and synthesize those insights into actionable recommendations to audiences of varying technical aptitude.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers and supply chain
- Retrieving and analyzing large sets of data using Excel, SQL, and other data management systems
- Systematically identify data sources, perform analysis and build data pipelines to influence product roadmaps and business strategy
- Communicate complex insights to stakeholders, both verbally, in writing and through visualization and dashboards
- Building and managing related key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, control, and benchmark reporting processes.
- Supporting cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
