Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in software development across one or more programming languages. Your background includes 3 years of experience in developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, as well as expertise in compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture. You are familiar with storage systems, databases, SQL, and data analytics, and you have experience building infrastructure in Google Cloud or other cloud providers. Your technical skills include proficiency in C++ and Java, and you have a strong understanding of high-performance scalable storage and distributed systems back-ends.

You hold a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, which enhances your ability to engage with enterprise customers and understand enterprise workloads. You are passionate about developing next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information. You thrive in environments that require innovative thinking and are eager to contribute fresh ideas from various domains, including information retrieval, distributed computing, and large-scale system design.

Desirable

What you'll do
