OpenSesame is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support financial operations in a high-growth environment. This role involves managing accounts payable, payroll, and expense management while providing excellent customer service.
You are an energetic and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a data-driven environment. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are eager to grow your career in accounting. You understand the importance of customer service excellence and can communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders. You are comfortable working independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and drive process improvements. You have a foundational understanding of key accounting processes, including accounts payable, payroll, sales tax, and expense management.
As an Accounting Specialist at OpenSesame, you will play an integral role in supporting the financial operations of our fast-paced, high-growth company. You will manage various accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while providing excellent service to our internal teams and external partners. You will be responsible for solving payroll inquiries, meeting our Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) goals, and reducing our Allowance for Doubtful Accounts (AFDA). Your role will require you to wear many hats, building relationships across departments and contributing to the overall integrity of our financial reporting.
