You have a strong electrical engineering background with experience in analog/mixed-signal testing methodologies — you've owned validation and test efforts on products and understand the intricacies of ensuring high performance in touch technologies. A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, and you possess a multidisciplinary understanding of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and physics principles.
Your proficiency in software and algorithm prototyping is high, particularly with scripting languages like MATLAB and Python — you are comfortable diving deep into issues, breaking down existing algorithms to enhance your understanding and improve performance. You are willing to wear multiple hats and go beyond normal roles and responsibilities to ensure the success of your projects.
You have experience in hardware prototyping and design of experiments (DoE) — your background includes working with failure analysis and corrective actions, which are critical in the development of next-gen touch technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments that foster engineering excellence, creativity, and innovation.
Experience in a hands-on engineering role where you have contributed to the development of user-centric technologies is a plus. Familiarity with the latest trends in touch technology and user experience design will set you apart.
In this role, you will develop strategies and solutions to ensure that Apple products meet the exacting touch performance standards — your work will involve the development and execution of validation and characterization methodologies for Apple’s touch solutions, from proof-of-concept to mass production.
