Bandwidth is seeking a Senior Event Manager to drive prospect and customer engagement through various events and trade shows. You'll be responsible for event strategy, planning, and execution, contributing significantly to the revenue pipeline. This role requires strong project management skills and experience in event organization.
You have a proven track record in event management, with at least 5 years of experience organizing and executing events of various sizes. Your expertise includes budgeting, logistics, and project management, ensuring that every event runs smoothly and meets its objectives. You are a strategic thinker who can set event strategies that align with business goals, both domestically and internationally. Your strong communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to drive engagement and lead generation. You are detail-oriented and thrive in fast-paced environments, where you can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and results. You understand the importance of measuring event success and ROI, and you are comfortable reporting on these metrics to stakeholders.
In this role, you will independently lead the planning and execution of Bandwidth’s presence at trade shows, hospitality events, and virtual events. You will be responsible for developing and managing the events budget, ensuring that all expenditures align with the overall strategy and goals. You will work closely with the Sr. Director of Global Events and the marketing team to create engaging experiences that resonate with prospects and customers. Your role will involve coordinating logistics, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing on-site execution to ensure that every detail is attended to. You will also be tasked with generating leads through these events, implementing strategies to maximize engagement and follow-up. Reporting on event attendance and success will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will need to analyze data to assess the impact of each event on the revenue pipeline. You will contribute to the overall marketing strategy by providing insights and recommendations based on your experiences and observations from the events you manage.
