Senior Software Engineer

Who you are

You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience building production systems at scale — you've owned services from design through deployment and have war stories from debugging complex distributed systems issues. You possess deep expertise in Java and have experience with REST and FIX APIs — you've shipped high-throughput APIs that handle millions of requests and have strong opinions on service architecture, dependency injection, and testing strategies. You are passionate about low-latency systems and understand the importance of data correctness under pressure — your work directly impacts the tools used by active traders worldwide. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, infrastructure, and frontend teams to deliver seamless API solutions. You are comfortable participating in on-call rotations, supporting mission-critical systems used by our most active clients. You continuously measure, monitor, and improve the trading API experience, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of sophisticated users.

Desirable

Experience with WebSocket and FIX API is a plus, as is familiarity with optimizing low-latency data flows. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies, contributing to the team's success and growth.

What you'll do

You will continuously measure, monitor, and improve the trading API experience, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of sophisticated users.
