We're seeking an innovative Senior Technical Program Manager to transform how millions experience food technology across our grocery platforms.
Amazon World Wide Grocery Store tech (WWGST) Org’s vision is to be the most loved grocer on earth, saving customers time and money. As part of Culinary Tech within WWGST org, we focus on building automation for the prepared food production for both Store Kitchens and a new formats of centralized Kitchen facilities serving tasty/safe food to our customers. We invest in building unified tech primitives for recipe management and food production serving all banners i,e Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh and Amazon GO.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating complex technical challenges into streamlined solutions that enhance food production processes. Expect to engage in strategic planning, program management, and creative problem-solving that directly impacts customer experience. You ideally have experience leading programs with S-Team/SVP/VP visibility, and are excited to think-out-of-the box to solve complex problems.
Key job responsibilities
- Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions to complex problems throughout the global Amazon grocery stores network.
- Coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment network. Tackle complex challenges and break them down into actionable steps, delivering results efficiently.
- Collaborate with other teams and operational partners to generate high quality, cost effective solutions.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners.
- Provide technical leadership for large-scale software, architectural, operational projects.
- Develop and lead high-level strategic initiatives that will shape the future of our grocery sites.- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
