HubSpot is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Category Management to lead the procurement strategy and manage vendor relationships. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in procurement processes.

Who you are

You have a strong background in procurement and category management, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You are skilled in strategic negotiations and have a proven track record of managing complex vendor relationships. Your leadership style is collaborative, and you enjoy mentoring and coaching team members to achieve their best performance. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including IT, Legal, and Compliance, to ensure that procurement processes align with company goals. You are detail-oriented and excel at tracking contracts from submission to execution, ensuring compliance and timely renewals. You are adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment, ready to tackle challenges as they arise.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Global Category Management team, overseeing the development and execution of a global procurement strategy that supports HubSpot's growth. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that procurement processes are efficient and effective. You will be responsible for managing a team of Category Managers, providing guidance and support as they navigate vendor relationships and contract negotiations. You will also play a hands-on role in executing strategic negotiations, ensuring that HubSpot secures the best possible terms with vendors. Your ability to balance leadership responsibilities with execution will be key to your success in this role. You will track and report on procurement metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices across the team. You will foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, encouraging your team to share insights and learn from each other.
