Your ability to refine workflows and coordinate localization efforts will be key to your success in this role. You possess strong communication skills and are adept at producing industry-leading technical content, including API documentation, release notes, and how-to guides. You are passionate about enhancing localization in products and understand the importance of customer feedback in driving continual improvement. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working cross-functionally to identify and address gaps in knowledge presence.

What you'll do

As the Technical Writing Manager, you will lead a small team of Technical Writers, ensuring that documentation meets high standards of quality and consistency. You will develop a holistic documentation strategy that covers processes, tooling, and delivery frameworks, while also implementing customer-feedback loops for ongoing enhancement. Regular reviews and coaching will be part of your responsibilities to help writers grow and increase their impact on customers. You will produce a variety of technical content, ensuring it is accessible and useful for developers, marketers, and authors alike. Your role will involve collaborating with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure that documentation aligns with product goals and user needs. You will also be responsible for identifying gaps in Contentful’s knowledge base and working with cross-functional teams to address them effectively.
