As the Senior Risk Manager at Lyft, you will lead the strategy and full renewal cycle for Lyft’s international insurance programs, including those for Rideshare, Bikes & Scooters, and Fleet. You will manage day-to-day maintenance of these programs, ensuring that they align with the company's evolving business needs. Your role will involve developing and executing post-acquisition insurance integration strategies, establishing strong relationships with insurance carriers and broker partners, and acting as a subject matter expert on insurance matters.
You will partner closely with Lyft’s Actuarial, Claims, and Legal teams to ensure optimal renewal outcomes and structures. This collaboration will be crucial in navigating the complexities of insurance coverage and ensuring that Lyft is adequately protected against emerging risks. You will also review insurance limits and terms in contractual agreements, providing evidence of insurance when required.
In addition to managing existing programs, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders on insurance forecasting, planning, and analysis involving new initiatives and company growth. Your advocacy for cross-company insurance partnerships will be essential in ensuring alignment and success across all relevant teams. You will be the primary point of contact for key broker and carrier partners, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve the best outcomes for Lyft.
Lyft offers a competitive salary range for this position in the New York City area, with a pay range of $118,000 - $147,500, not inclusive of potential equity offerings, bonuses, or benefits.
