Compliance Program Manager

Who you are

You are a seasoned Compliance Program Manager with a strong background in managing compliance programs, particularly in PCI-DSS standards. With at least 5 years of experience in compliance or security roles, you have a proven track record of ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and maintaining customer trust. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with customers and internal teams alike. Your ability to work collaboratively with Engineering, SRE, Product, Legal, and Compliance teams makes you a valuable asset in any organization. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of compliance frameworks and audit processes.

Desirable

Experience with cloud technologies and API security is a plus, as is familiarity with customer assurance processes. You are proactive in identifying compliance risks and have a knack for developing strategies to mitigate them. Your analytical skills enable you to conduct thorough assessments and readiness reviews, ensuring that your organization is always prepared for audits.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the end-to-end PCI DSS compliance program for a designated Kong product, ensuring that all standards are met and maintained. You will conduct regular internal assessments and readiness reviews, preparing Reports on Compliance (ROC) as necessary. As the Subject Matter Expert for customer assurance, you will handle all customer requests related to compliance inquiries, security questionnaires, and due diligence reviews. You will also attend customer calls to explain the product’s security posture and compliance controls, reinforcing customer trust in Kong's offerings. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with various teams to ensure that compliance is integrated into the product development lifecycle and that all stakeholders are informed of compliance requirements.
