What you'll do

As a Structures Technician at SpaceX, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and installation of rocket and spacecraft components. Your responsibilities will include modifying and repairing parts as needed, ensuring that all work is completed according to specifications. You will utilize various tools and techniques to align and secure components, applying fasteners in the correct sequence to maintain structural integrity.

You will be responsible for selecting the appropriate drill bits and countersinking tools for pilot and full-size holes, ensuring that all holes are drilled to the correct size and depth. Your attention to detail will be essential as you deburr holes and prepare surfaces for sealing or assembly. You will also load and unload ovens for bonding detail parts to assemblies, demonstrating your ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all components meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your ability to follow detailed instructions and work as part of a team will be critical to the success of the Falcon 9 project.
