Five9 is seeking a Lead Sales Manager to drive mid-market and commercial sales by leading a team of Account Executives. You'll leverage your expertise in SaaS sales and relationship management to exceed revenue goals. This role requires a strong background in enterprise software sales.

Who you are

You have a proven track record of building and leading successful sales teams in the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry — your experience includes closing significant revenue deals and managing complex sales cycles. You excel at positioning business value and have a deep understanding of enterprise software solutions, which allows you to effectively communicate with key stakeholders in prospective accounts. Your ability to remain aware of competitor capabilities and threats is crucial in this role, ensuring that your team is always prepared to meet challenges head-on.

You are a natural leader who thrives in a team-first culture — you understand the importance of fostering an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued. Your coaching and support skills enable you to prepare your team for success, guiding them through the sales process and helping them achieve their individual and collective goals. You are passionate about customer experience and believe in the power of cloud innovation to transform businesses.

Desirable

Experience in managing sales teams that focus on mid-market and commercial accounts is a plus — you understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with these segments. Familiarity with customer experience solutions and cloud contact center software will give you an edge in this role, as will any previous experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What you'll do

As the RVP of Mid-Market and Commercial Sales at Five9, you will develop and execute a comprehensive business plan aimed at expanding our reach into new accounts. You will leverage company-generated leads, business development initiatives, and partnerships to drive sales growth. Your leadership will guide Account Executives and Mid-Market Sales Directors, ensuring that they are equipped to exceed company revenue goals and objectives.

You will be responsible for preparing, coaching, and supporting your team, helping them navigate the sales landscape and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your strategic mindset will allow you to identify target accounts and develop tailored approaches to engage them effectively. You will also monitor sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure that your team remains on track to meet their targets.

Collaboration will be key in this role — you will work closely with marketing and other departments to align efforts and maximize impact. Your insights into customer needs and market trends will inform product positioning and sales strategies, ensuring that Five9 remains competitive in the evolving landscape of cloud contact center solutions.
