You are a hands-on architect who enjoys automating financial workflows and integrating data pipelines. Your analytical skills allow you to translate complex financial data into clear insights that drive decision-making. You are highly organized and self-sufficient, motivated by building lean, scalable systems rather than managing large teams. While a CPA, CFA, or relevant accounting designation is preferred, it is not required. You thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote work with in-office collaboration in Toronto.

What you'll do

As the Finance Manager at Calico AI, you will lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, overseeing all aspects of finance for the Canadian headquarters while ensuring clarity and compliance in U.S. revenue operations. You will partner directly with the CEO and cross-functional teams spanning Operations, Commercial, and Technology to deliver clean financial data and actionable insights. Your role will involve architecting processes and implementing automation to enhance the efficiency of financial operations. You will be responsible for financial reporting, forecasting, and managing tax and treasury functions in both Canadian and U.S. contexts. Your advanced analytical and financial modeling skills will be crucial in translating data into insights that support strategic decision-making.
