SpaceX is hiring an RF Engineer for the Starship team to support advanced electronics development for space travel. You'll perform system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting in Hawthorne, CA.
You have a strong background in RF engineering, with experience in system architecture analysis and performance verification. You understand antenna pattern coverage, co-site interference, and link budgets, and you are skilled in testing RF system compatibility and end-to-end performance. You are familiar with simulation and data review infrastructure for RF communications and sensors, and you have experience conducting technical reviews and presentations. You are detail-oriented and ensure compliance with spectrum licensing and regulations through thorough analysis and testing. You excel in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of system-level performance anomalies, demonstrating your problem-solving skills in high-stakes environments.
