Xometry is seeking an Account Executive II to manage and convert inbound leads into loyal customers. You'll build relationships and guide clients through the sales process. This role requires strong sales skills and a customer-focused approach.

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in managing inbound leads and converting them into loyal customers. Your ability to build relationships is key, as you will be projecting company values of trust, service, and honesty. You are strategic in identifying long-term clients and securing substantial orders, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for customers. Your organizational skills allow you to create and actively manage plans to reach specific sales objectives, driving profitable growth and improving market share. You are passionate about helping customers select the best manufacturing technology for their projects, showcasing your expertise in the industry.

Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to serve as a key point of contact for customers throughout the sales process. You are adept at guiding clients from initial contact to deal closure, ensuring their requirements are understood and met. You are proactive in collecting customer feedback and collaborating with internal departments to enhance service delivery.

Desirable

Experience in the manufacturing sector or a related field would be advantageous, as would familiarity with rapid manufacturing technologies. A background in sales engineering or technical sales could also enhance your ability to provide guidance on project quotes and customer needs.

What you'll do

In your role as Account Executive II, you will be responsible for managing and converting inbound leads into loyal customers. This involves developing business with existing and new inbound customers, ensuring that you understand their needs and can provide tailored solutions. You will create and actively manage plans to reach specific sales objectives, focusing on profitable growth and enhancing the company's market image.

You will assist customers in selecting the best rapid manufacturing technology for their development projects, acting as a knowledgeable resource throughout the process. Your role will also involve being the contact person for all new projects related to prototyping and low volume production, ensuring that customer requirements are collected and communicated effectively to internal teams.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with the sales engineering team to develop accurate quotes based on specific customer needs. You will ensure that all new customer requirements are documented and made available for internal departments, facilitating a smooth transition from sales to project execution.
