You possess expertise in implementing financial solutions such as Databricks and Anaplan — your analytical skills allow you to design and maintain KPI dashboards that assess efficiency and identify potential risks. You are comfortable collaborating with infrastructure leaders to enhance cloud cost reporting and budgeting processes.
Your ability to rationalize and manage cloud spend across multiple public clouds sets you apart — you understand the complexities of cloud contracts and can develop cost attribution models that inform economic drivers. You thrive in environments where you can influence strategic investments and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Experience with financial planning and analysis tools beyond Anaplan would be beneficial — familiarity with cloud cost management strategies and practices is a plus. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies that can enhance financial reporting and analysis.
As a Finance Manager - Cloud Costs at Databricks, you will be a key finance partner to the R&D organization — your role will involve delivering insights through financial modeling and analysis that are grounded in financial reality. You will help improve the analysis, planning, and reporting of R&D spend, focusing specifically on cloud costs.
You will design and implement models to forecast, plan, and budget for various types of R&D expenses — your insights will drive controllership of cloud cost reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will work closely with infrastructure leaders to enhance the accuracy of forecasts and develop recommendations that align with Databricks' business model.
Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining KPI dashboards that assess efficiency and identify areas of potential risk and opportunity — you will partner with cross-functional teams on cloud contracts, key partnerships, and acquisitions that materially impact infrastructure spend. You will also be responsible for developing cost attribution models that inform the drivers of current economics.
