Tanium is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to drive enterprise software sales and manage complex sales cycles. You'll engage with C-suite executives and lead sales efforts in Nagoya, Japan.
You have significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions with major customers in the region. You are comfortable engaging with C-level executives, including CIOs and CISOs, and can articulate the value of technology solutions tailored to customer needs. You thrive in a team-oriented environment, understanding that selling is a collaborative effort that requires managing and utilizing virtual resources effectively. You have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and are adept at nurturing relationships within your assigned territory.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. You are proactive in generating sales development activity to maintain a healthy pipeline and are skilled in accurately forecasting sales while maintaining excellent hygiene in your sales management tools. You are comfortable conducting online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads and are willing to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners.
Experience in the cybersecurity or enterprise software industry is a plus, as is familiarity with the Tanium platform or similar technology solutions. You are a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for growth and develop innovative approaches to meet customer needs. A strong understanding of the competitive landscape and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions will set you apart in this role.
As the Director of Strategic Accounts at Tanium, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and accounts. You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers and expertly manage the complex sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Your role will involve nurturing and developing relationships within your assigned territory, presenting the value of the Tanium platform to C-suite executives, and collaborating with the Partner and Marketing teams to define and support sales efforts.
You will generate appropriate sales development activity to ensure a healthy pipeline and accurately forecast sales while maintaining excellent hygiene in your sales management tools. Conducting online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads will be a key part of your responsibilities, and you will travel as needed to meet with clients and partners. Your success will be measured by your ability to exceed assigned quotas and drive a superior customer experience through tailored technology solutions.
